I wanted to wait until tomorrow to post this one up since I’ve just written about my cousin’s wedding. But I am just too excited about the movie. Sex and The City has always.. and will always be one of my favourite shows of all time. So when I heard about the movie, I went nuts!When I was still in Switzerland back in June, this movie just got out during that time there. I wanted to watch it so badly but I kept telling myself, its okay. It should be out in Malaysia by the time I’m back so I could watch it with Reynie. But when I reached kl… until I’m back in KK.. the movie was still not out. When it finally was out, I couldn’t find any1 to watch it with in the movie, and besides I knew there would be some cut out scenes. So I bought the DVD ( I would buy the original one if it were out early but I know that would be too good to be true… so yes… sorry that I buy pirated stuff! hehehe)

So about the movie, it didn’t fail me. OH~~~ I love the creators so much~~ I love the girls~~ I love the dresses~~ I love the heels~~ the Monolos~~ The Handbags~~~ I love everything!!!

There’s simply too much to say but now I’m totally out of words. Lol I’m simply excited~ and I’m glad I didn’t watch it at the cinema here coz now I know for sure there would be some cut out scenes. (Get what I mean? Lol)

This movie is truly the best continuation of the series. Big and Carrie are finally together. In the previous series, it was always an On and Off relationship between then and Im glad that, after 10 years.. They are together now. Happy!! Yeay!!! And Samantha… heheheh how could one not love this 50 year old? She has the body to die for, and for her age, she’s still got ‘it’! hahaha Gets!! Charlotte is finally pregnant though they’ve already adopted a girl… and Miranda managed to solve her wedding problems with Steve in the end… Please do not watch this with young kids since there are some ‘geteks’ scenes.. Tee-heee

Oh and guess what, I cried terribly over this particular scene… Luckily I was watching this all by myself and in my room… lol I was crying like a baby. What the heck. This particular scene totally broke my heart. So happy that Big and Carrie were finally tying the knot but due to personal emotions, Big didn’t get off the car…Need me to explain more? I dun think so.. Or else I would end up talking from A-Z of the movie and be a spoiler. hehe Just watch this scene… truly heartbreaking.. look at her running out of the car and hitting him..Just look at how protective the girlfriends were… sigh~ imagine finally marrying the man you’ve been in love with for so long…and this happens…

I could totally relate to the wedding aftermath where the other girls brought Carrie to the ’supposed honeymoon’.. Only the girls were there and how Carrie acted, crying and staying in bed for days. I could totally relate to that. Having your gfs by your side.. sigh. Those were the days~

I watched Batman, The Dark Knight like a week ago? On the 2nd day of its showcase or something..Watched the 11.15pm show.. and.. before the start of the movie.. I had super high expectations of it and I kept telling myself not to do so or I’d be disappointed in the end.. but me being me, oh well.. lets just say I had super duper high expectation…

Ok to start with, I must say, the late Heath Ledger was simply awesome! Out of the rating of 5, I’d give him a 6!!! or 7? or even 8? Like what the heck man.. it’s only a Batman movie for heaven’s sake and me being a sucker for movies.. (where I would cry over the tiniest things and getting scared over scary scenes) I totally got freaked out by The Joker, like totally freaked out. I heard from my ’sources’ (cindy, to be exact) that its this role that caused Heath Ledger to be OD over drugs, coz he was so into it… Well..he got me going throughout the whole movie. Me, being freaked out by The Joker? Closing my eyes and ears, complaining to my cousin sitting right beside me, screamed on some particular scenes, geez…But.. this is one role that I truly believe Heath Ledger would be proudly remembered of…Brilliant role and acted out so well.. well done!

As for the whole movie in general, sad to say this but I myself would only give it a 3.5 rating out of 5. Its a good effort of the actions in it, plus the Batman’s new suit design (that made him look super HOTTTttTTt, please note: Christian Bale is super hot!!!) Oh my God.. I’ve never really been a fan of his, even from the previous Batman movie, but from this movie.. I am officially… a Christian Bale’s fan! He’s got a nice body, and super smooth silky skin! my god.. flawless skin.. yummy! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Ok ok enough of me babbling over Christian Bale’s hotness, the reason why I wasn’t totally satisfied of the movie was because, I feel that the writer of this movie, I just feel that they totally made Batman’s role seem so weak, so emotional…and I hated his guts in some ways…Just so disappointed that his role was made that way….

And speaking of Rachel, Batman’s ex-gf and currently then-turned Two-faced’s gf, my god… like hello?? isn’t Batman The Dark Knight supposed to be a blockbuster? They spend so much money and stuff, how come… and I repeat.. HOW COME NO HOTTER A-LIST HOLLYWOOD ACTRESS WAS HIRED?!?!?!?!?! HOW COME?!?!?!?! Why Maggie?! She’s just not pretty enough!! Ok Like who am I to judge right, kalau diri sendiri cantik, nda pa juga.. but then again, hey I’m not a Hollywood actress haha. Just disappointed la, like of all thr actresses around, why her? like.. why her? A super hero flick should have a super duper hot chick in it! aih.. I could go on forever on this, but I’d rather not. It just pisses me off. In some ways, (thought I cried, ba being a sucker for movies), I’m actually glad that she died. Mean? Well if she were pretty, I wouldn’t be happy!!!!! lol joke

Anyway okay I suppose I elaborated enough on this movie. Like more than enough. For huge fans of the Batman, go watch it! Oh just be prepared of the long hours. Super long movie. Was thinking, ‘When is this movie ever gonna end?’

So after been wanting to catch some movie, Reynie & I finally got to spare some time for movie just now after dinner n after taking dad’s and mom’s ‘dolls’.. Tonite we watched ‘Made of Honour‘, starring Patrick Dempsey & Michelle Monaghan. Patrick Dempsey is one of the surgeons in the series Grey’s Anatomy. Being a big fan of Grey’s Anatomy, and especially ‘Mr. McDreamy’ (of course acted by Patrick Dempsey), I just had to watch this movie.

Made of Honour is about this ‘playboy’ who ‘bedded’ the wrong girl during college time,who eventually became his best friend for 10 years now. The girl had to go to Scotland because of work and during the duration that they were apart, he realised that he’s fallen in love with the best friend. So when the lady came back with a fiancee, she requested Patrick Dempsey to be her ‘Maid of honour’. So basically the movie is about the guy agreeing to become the maid of honour with a quest of trying to win her heart. Long story cut short, they got together in the end….

The whole movie was a typical romantic movie. Very predictable on some scenes but being a sucker for movies, I loved it! Lol… funny and so so so so oh-so-sweeeeeet~~~ Reynie & I laughed throughout the movie, we sat at the front row..like wat the heck! hahaha tears rolled down during the romantic scenes…. and when I went out of the cinema… I was still stucked with the whole ‘romantic’ mood…geez.. Anyways, for you guys who haven’t watched it.. Please watch it if you’re a sucker for romantic movies….and for Mr. Mcdreamy lol…. do watch it!

These few days have been tiring, with all my individual reports and presentations coming up. Finishing in about 3 weeks’ time… and within these 2 weeks its going to be pure hell for me.. Had few breakdowns but oh well, I guess sh*t happens. Feeling so EXHAUSTED and lonely, in terms of missing my family really badly. Guess everybody’s so busy with own self, So I understand.

Anyway, one of my lecturers let us watch a documentary regarding our environment. Well I’ve never really been the kind of person who would spend time on this, let alone discussing about it here in the blog. People has mentioned before how the global warming badly affects the world, but I always had this thought on ‘ yeah the world’s so big, how could we possibly ruin it’.. and when people say ‘ save the world for our children’, I have never really given it a thought. But after watching this documentary called ‘ The Inconvenient Truth’ done by Mr. Al Gore, it really ticked me. Made me realize how our world has changed, and its all because of what us humans have done. Technology wise yes we’re updated, but we’ve never done anything to preserve the world. What are the politicians for? They have the power and they do nothing? Wealth is something, but without the World, how could you earn money in the future?If we don’t preserve the world, what would we be able to give our children in the future? on what are they gonna live in? (children. I’m saying all this?)

The movie really touched me. It showed how the world is changing. It showed statistics of how global warming has really affected parts of the world. Ice melting.. and sooner or later.. there wont be any left. And in the documentary, it stated that somewhere( i forgot where), they found polar bears that actually DROWNED! because there were no ice left.. and hours and hours of swimming led them to drowning. Isn’t that sad? that really broke my heart. Imagine the non-existence of glaciers in the future. How’s the world gonna be?

Al Gore did a good job in trying to present this to the whole world. It changed his views on the world after he nearly lost his son. Could understand how one would change his views in life and try to make the world a better place. Anyway guys, if you have the time, do watch the movie. I can assure you that it won’t waste any of your time. It is definitely worth it. Every single minute.
