Today’s my 2nd day in Geneva. I woke up at 5am and surprisingly Dad & Mom were both eating Maggi in cups.Thinking back.. I think neither one of us is used to the time difference here yet… since its 7 hours behind Malaysia time…5am here would mean its 12pm in KK…which is my usual wake up time.. lolz…oh well..I suppose few more days here I’d be able to cope up with the time difference.

Anyhow,today was quite a day. My parents and I met up with the taxi driver who sent us to the hotel from the airport yesterday.Mr.Munir. He’s a nice guy but we had a hard time trying to communicate with him. In Reynie’s and MeiHsing’s term,they’d call this “Different Wavelength”… Its because of our language barrier I suppose. None in my family could understand,let alone speak French nor German and Mr. Munir is not fluent in his English as well..but that didn’t stop us from going around the city hehehe..just wanted to let u guys know exactly what happened

Went off from the hotel at 10am.Was supposed to go round the city but due to my request,we went around to find….SNOW!!! hahahaha Ever since i was a kid.. I have always dreamt about having a WHITE Christmas…since its already January now..I dun care! I still want snow! hehehe All this while I’ve been hearing about ‘The Alps,The Alps,The Alps..oh how beautiful the place is’…when i asked Mr. Munir about The Alps,bet he wanted to laugh but he didn’t.Turns out The Alps is in France.sheesh!!!!!! potong stim..but he said there’s a place in Geneva with snow as well.So we went. The road uphill was a very..and i mean..VERY WINDING road…it reminds me of Kundasang..oh kk..sigh~ and when we reached…. Yup! I saw snow!!! We’ve reached Commune De St-Cergue (which is just 4 km away from the border of France) hehe extra info

Reaching there,since this was a last minute arrangement to ‘find’ snow, I didn’t wear the appropriate attire. Imagine wearing high heeled leather boots going through snow.A very wrong idea right? lol well it happened. The young kid in me was the happiest today. Some parts were slippery due to the snow melting process…I nearly fell like, twice?Mr.Munir saved me the 1st time…the 2nd time i hung tight to my dad.haha. After ages of taking pictures there.. we continued our journey.

Oh btw,forgot to mention..after leaving the place..we had to go through the long winding road again right.and guess what. I fell sick. Head was spinning..I was about to puke anytime. I couldn’t take it anymore so i lied down n slept. What made me got up was when dad said ‘ kalau tidur apa la ko nampak’ UHUUUUU that woke me up. heheheh ok so we went through quite few places.. I don’t really remember the names of the places..but will show pictures later on. Some of it were Lake Geneva, Old Town, Labour something something.. Union something something..hahah dun remember..oh well..what I do remember is passing by the expensive shopping part of the city. Saw Celine,Mont Blanc,Rolex,Louis Vuitton..just to name a few. Talk about living the life of The Rich and Famous…

Basically that’s about it.Oh tour today cost my dad 494 swiss franc.(for just about 2 hours drive?)which means when converted it’d be RM1482. adedeh…poor dad…but he said its worth it la ( i think he was consoling himself?)..well at least that’s what mom said.. It was around 12 plus to 1 when we reached the hotel…dad,mom & I went hunting for food…after making few turns round the corner.we settled down for chinese food. Had chasau,Duck and Sau rou..huhuhuhu….made me miss kk more! everything i do here kills me!!!!!!!! ARGH!!!!!

After lunch..i went to get myself a new mobile number here.I would still keep my old number but if i were to use that here.. I’d be broke so soon that i wont be able to go through life here hehehe.. so to friends that i haven’t informed of my number…do let me know k…Tried to post the pictures straight away but its taking too long a time.I’ll do it tomorrow k ppl! TATA!

Sigh…. I got a call from Gwenda last night..i haven’t gotten the chance to meet this babe of mine ever since she got back. I know I’ve been planning to meet her up for so long but I don’t know why there would always be these sudden things that would just pop at the very last minute and i tend to be busy at times. But hey..made a date wit adorable Gwen next week…

Tonight I gotta meet my close buddies for the usual ‘gatherings’.Been told that I haven’t spent time with them lately…huhuhuhuhu…tomorrow its dinner with niece and the bf and the gang…hmmmm…packed packed packed schedule…and i bet next week is gonna be harder and busierrrrrrr….oooo…need to call up Vanesa….

Btw, I was surfing through Facebook…and I saw a friend’s profile picture…she was at the Tip Of Borneo,Kudat…for months I’ve been saying i want to go there someday and visit the place since people have been telling me how beautiful the place is..the scenery is magnificent and stuff…i have 23 days left….minus 2 weeks for meeting up with friends…i hope i can find friends to bring me to Tip Of Borneo before i leave….should start asking who’d be available to accompany me..

Slept real late last night..and was awaken real early this morning since I was asked to shift both the cars to the house next door…the bridge connecting my house and the entrance was demolished…sigh…don’t know when will it be done.Tried to continue sleeping after that but couldn’t.Anyways today is one of those days when I just don’t feel like going out of the house…what a slow slow day for me…

Did a lot of thinking just now..basically about life… (been thinking about life very often lately).Part of it is going to Switzerland….I’m counting the days left…23 days to be exact….I’m really looking forward to it but then again its going to be hard parting my family and dear friends over here.. I keep telling myself this is what i want..this is for the better..i know.. its just that the early stages of parting is not something easy to do..

There’s so much for me to do before leaving and yet i don’t know where to start.I need to go shop for winter clothings,get a big luggage and so forth…but most of all…i have to meet my old friends that i haven’t met for so long…All have come back from overseas and I’ve been turning them down since i have been busy doing other things.Well now i need to plan the meetings with them..People I have in mind…Gwenda, Sharin, Wanwan, Vanesa,Jackie,Ahyeow,Eugene and amongst others..

I was surfing for songs…and I found the song I used to ‘layan’ last time…got to know this song from someone before…it meant a lot to me… the video is not that nice.. but i like the voice that just compliments the song…listen to the lyrics people…very nice…very meaningful..
